My experience at this Toucan was wretched. Five of us in total were placed into the Intermediate class studying the Infinity Verbs as well as the Irregular Verbs. No one in the class was ready for studying the Verbs. We were all very aware that we were not ready for this class and made repeated requests to be taught at our level. This was all to no avail. The Verbs are taught in school in 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade and children at that level already know the words!! Also there was a group thing done on the roof at night time and I was propositioned by the staff member Daniel who is blatantly homosexual, I am married with children and masculine in appearance, I think the staff is semi-incompetent or they thought it was funny to have a bunch of foreigners waste their time and money studying Espanol at a level that they were ill prepared for and I think the Daniel guy and propositioning was done to screw with me because I’m not from Columbia.

Great staff! Im happy with the organization of the spanish-level groups.I tried both group clases and private.The group clases are great for getting to know other students/people traveling. And most of the time everyone lives close by, so its easy to make social plans in the afternoon.The private clases are very effective for quick learning of spanish, because the classes are so hand-sawn to your level.(Also its nice to start school a bit later in the day if you like dancing during the night:)

I highly recommend studying Spanish at Toucan language school in Medellin. I am finishing my first week of 4 weeks of study, and enjoy the class more every day. Profesora Sara is amazing! She is attentive to each student and makes the class fun and interesting. I particularly like the teaching approach. Based on learning Spanish that is important to travelers and people needing to communicate with the world around them. I also think the constant verbal practice is very important for students to not be shy of speaking. I took a 4-week immersion class in Granada Spain a year ago, and Sara is superior! I thank the school and Sara for the quality educational experience!

A great place to improve your Spanish with a good mix of conversation practice and learning new grammar. They have classes for all levels and find you the right one for where you are at. I took classed here for 4 weeks and I learned a lot!

I spent a month at Toucan Spanish school taking a combination of both group and individual classes and I LOVED it!All of the staff were very welcoming, warm and friendly. If you needed support outside of class to organise tours (or anything else) Daniel was always on hand to support and give us Colombian sweets 😆 (he카지노토토 an absolute star).I liked that the classes were not too big and it meant that we were able to receive more bespoke sessions depending on where we needed to grow as a group.I’m very biased but my teacher Moisés is THE BEST. Moisés es muy fomentado y me ayudó muchissimo con mi español. He always brought enthusiasm and fun to the classes and it often feels like a conversation rather than a lesson. The sessions were always interactive with a focus on speaking. The admin was very helpful, and even let me make up two days the following week after missing two due to a long weekend trip.Every Friday, we had the option to go on excursions as a practical way to learn. During these outings, we engaged in interactive learning: we would point at various objects, and the teacher would translate them, helping us apply what we’d learned in a real-world setting. Whether we were hiking in the mountains, exploring art museums, visiting fruit markets, or discovering other cultural gems in Medellín.Additionally, Wednesday evenings featured language exchanges and dance sessions, adding a fun, interactive element to our studies. Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with my time there and will definitely be coming back.
